Single sampling plan, normal inspection, per ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 (ISO 2859-1 equivalent). When severities resolve to different sample sizes, inspect the largest sample and apply each accept and reject pair to its own defect class.
How the numbers are calculated
The calculator reads the same two tables printed on every pre-shipment inspection report.
Your lot size picks a code letter
The Z1.4 tables group lot sizes into ranges. Each range maps to a code letter per inspection level, and the letter sets your sample size, from 2 pieces up to 2,000.
The AQL sets accept and reject numbers
For each defect class you agree an AQL with your supplier. The table turns it into a pair of numbers: accept the lot at or under the first, reject it at or over the second.
Arrows move you to a workable plan
Some combinations have no plan at their own sample size. The table points to the nearest one that works, which is why a small lot at AQL 2.5 can still need 20 samples. The calculator resolves this for you.
