Introduction

Size AI (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy describes how we handle your information when you use our iOS app.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

• Photos: Garment images you capture for measurement
• Account Data: Email or Apple Sign In identifier
• Labels: Text, photos, and barcode values from garment labels you scan; label photos may be stored with your garment record to provide and improve label recognition
• Referral & Creator Codes: You may optionally enter a referral or creator code during onboarding. If you do, we store the code and the resulting relationship between your account and the account or creator the code belongs to, so we can grant the associated rewards. We also store your answer to the optional “Where did you hear about us?” question. We do not collect email addresses or other contact details of third parties through this feature.

Information Collected Automatically

• Device Information: iPhone model, iOS version, app version, hardware capabilities
• Usage Data: Features used, measurement success rates, session duration
• Performance Data: Processing times, memory usage, thermal state
• Capture Data: Depth-sensor readings, camera calibration values, and capture-quality telemetry (such as device tilt) recorded with a measurement capture — used to compute your measurements and to verify and improve their accuracy

Processing

We use AI technology to provide precise garment measurements.

Improving Our Models (Optional Photo Sharing)

Some capture modes offer an optional, off-by-default way to help improve Size AI’s measurement accuracy. If — and only if — you tap “Allow” on the in-app prompt or turn the sharing toggle on in Settings, the original photos from those captures are uploaded to a private training store and used solely to train and evaluate our measurement models.

• Off by default — nothing is shared unless you opt in
• Training photos are stored in a private, access-restricted bucket; they are never shown or shared publicly and never used for advertising
• Where a capture includes a reference card (such as a gift or loyalty card), the copy saved to your library has the card region automatically blurred. The shared training copy is the original, unblurred capture — that is what makes it useful for training
• You can turn sharing off anytime in Settings — doing so also deletes the photos you previously shared
• Deleting your account deletes your shared training photos too

Without this opt-in, capture photos are used only to provide your measurements as described in this policy.

How We Use Information

We use your information to:

• Provide measurement services
• Store and sync your garment data
• Improve app accuracy and performance
• Fix bugs and technical issues
• Provide customer support
• Comply with legal obligations
• Product updates and new feature announcements via email
• Special offers and promotions

Data Storage and Retention

Local Storage

Most data is stored securely on your device and automatically managed.

Cloud Storage (Optional)

If you enable cloud sync:

• Data is stored securely in the United States
• Each user’s data is isolated and protected
• All connections are encrypted
• Data is retained until you request deletion

Third-Party Services

We use third-party services for data storage and authentication. These services have their own privacy policies.

Analytics

We use Mixpanel to analyze app usage, including screen views, feature interactions, and session replays. Session replays capture screen layouts and gestures — text and images are automatically masked. Your name and email may be associated with analytics data to help us improve the app.

Advertising & Attribution

We use AppsFlyer to measure ad campaign performance. Install and subscription data may be shared with advertising partners. AppsFlyer does not receive your name, email, or photos. You can manage ad tracking in your device settings under Privacy > Tracking.

AppsFlyer also handles deferred deep linking for our promo code program — when you tap a sizeai.co/r/[code] link or a creator landing link (sizeai.co/i/[slug]), AppsFlyer captures the code and passes it to the app after install so we can credit the person or creator who shared it. This data is first-party (your own promo activity) and is not shared with advertising partners.

Your Rights

You can:

• Access your data through the app
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Export your measurements in standard formats
• Opt-out of cloud sync, research data collection, and the optional model-training photo sharing (Settings toggle; turning it off also deletes previously shared training photos)
• Disable optional AI features
• Correct inaccurate information

To exercise these rights:

Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data. While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

Children’s Privacy

Size AI is not intended for children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we discover we’ve collected such data, we will delete it immediately.

International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international transfers. By using Size AI, you consent to these transfers.

California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

California residents have additional rights:

• Right to Know: What personal information we collect and how it’s used
• Right to Delete: Request deletion of your personal information
• Right to Opt-Out: We don’t sell personal data, but you can opt-out of data sharing
• Non-Discrimination: We won’t discriminate for exercising privacy rights

Categories of information collected:

• Identifiers (device ID, email)
• Visual information (photos)
• Commercial information (subscription status and purchase history, received from Apple when you buy through the App Store)
• Usage data

European Privacy Rights (GDPR)

EU/EEA residents have additional rights:

• Access and Portability: Receive your data in machine-readable format
• Rectification: Correct inaccurate data
• Erasure: Right to be forgotten
• Restriction: Limit processing of your data
• Object: Object to certain processing
• Withdraw Consent: Revoke consent at any time

Device Requirements

Size AI requires compatible iPhone hardware with specific capabilities. The app will notify you if your device doesn’t meet requirements.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified through the app. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
